Don't buy these if you plan on wearing them for more than a few hours

Ohh man. I've searched high and low for a shoe that has good traction, rubber sole, barefoot, wide toe box, good build quality. And when I first got these I thought I found the holy grail and I'd never buy another shoe again.

But I primarily bought these for work in a restaurant. Of which I average about 22k steps a shift. And while they are the most comfortable and supportive "barefoot" shoes I've found. They have absolutely ZERO breathability. After a 8hr shift my feet look like they've been soaking in water for hours. Literal trench foot.

They would be the most comfortable shoes I own if it wasn't for that fact. These are definitely not all day shoes. But if you wanna do some running in the rain then 5/5

With that being said. As soon as I'm done writing this I'm ordering a pair of the NON-WATERPROOF ones to hopefully see if they have more breathability. If not, I'm back to the endless quest of finding something that can sustain me for an 8-12hr shift

Uncomfortable look and feel of the not-so-"Stealth Black"

    Disappointing look and feel.

    - The feel/comfort: Although the interior width is spacious, the interior height is cramped. I felt like my feet were pressed down in a tortilla-press.

    - The look: The 'Stealth Black' color is not entirely "stealth". I expected it to be fully black at least in front-view and top-view, but there was a surprise! There’s an annoying grey (almost-white) patch of the sole that curves up to the front and looks like an ugly mistake in front-view… like a bit of toilet paper permanently stuck to front of the shoe.

    Love these runners!

I purchased these runners for my route based job where I do a lot of walking and am out in the elements. These are great and have helped keep my feet dry.

    Good dhoe

I like the wide toe box with the 0 drop, and the shoes do look good. They just didn't last for me. I had them for 6 months and the stitching on my left heel started to fall apart. The right shoe is fine, but For 150, I expected the shoes to be more durable

Wearing bulky shoes is like keeping your feet in casts. Sure, they’re temporarily safe, and may even be able to recover from overuse, but this is merely a band-aid, not a long term solution. Your body works and feels best when it’s being used and appropriately challenged.

  • Stronger Feet: Traditional shoes restrict movement and weaken foot muscles over time. Barefoot shoes promote natural movement, strengthening muscles in the feet, ankles, and lower legs for better stability and strength.
  • Happier Toes: A wide toe-box gives your toes freedom to wiggle and flex. This builds up their strength and flexibility, making it easier to move around without hurting your ankles or knees.
  • Balanced Stride: A zero-drop design, meaning your heel and forefoot are on the same level, gives you a natural, graceful stride that takes the strain off your joints and perks up your posture.

"Barefoot shoes" is a general term for shoes that optimize the natural biomechanics of the human foot. To achieve that, our shoes feature excellent flexibility, zero-drop (no heel raise), and a generous toe-box to accomodate the foot's natural shape.

Flux shoes have a generous toe-box, thanks to the toe-off shape which creates ample room for the toes throughout the gait cycle.

Yes, these shoes are flat from heel to toe, allowing your feet to land naturally.

The amount of time it takes to transition to barefoot shoes varies for each individual, as everyone's feet are different and may adapt to the new shoes at different rates. However, the following general guidelines can help:

  • Gradual transition: Gradually increasing the amount of time you spend in barefoot shoes can help reduce discomfort and allow your feet to adjust to the new sensation of walking without shoes.
  • Start small: Begin by wearing barefoot shoes for a few hours at a time and gradually increase the duration as your feet get used to them.
  • Listen to your body: Pay attention to any discomfort or pain you experience while wearing barefoot shoes. If you experience discomfort, take a break and switch back to your regular shoes for a few days.
  • Give it time: It can take several weeks or even months for your feet to fully adjust to barefoot shoes, so be patient and persistent.

Keep in mind that everyone's feet are different and the transition time may vary. It's important to listen to your body and adjust accordingly to ensure a comfortable transition to barefoot shoes.
