Grounding tech that reconnects you to the Earth’s natural energy. By transferring electrons from the ground, it helps reduce stress and inflammation, improve sleep, and boost recovery.

  • Enhances Connection to the Ground: Grounding (or earthing) allows the body to absorb electrons from the earth, which may help reduce inflammation, improve circulation, and support recovery.
  • May Reduce Stress & Fatigue: Some research suggests grounding can help regulate circadian rhythms, leading to better sleep and reduced fatigue.
  • Improves Stability & Balance: A direct sensory connection to the ground enhances proprioception, helping you react faster and stay balanced in motion.

Tackle Any Terrain

Trinity Tread boosts traction on tough terrain, ensuring confident navigation over roots, rocks, and any obstacles.

Modern shoes limit your mobility. Natural movement shoes let them move as they should—building strength, improving balance, and supporting posture. With a wide toe box and zero-drop design, they help you move freely, comfortably, and naturally.

The amount of time it takes to transition to barefoot shoes varies for each individual, as everyone's feet are different and may adapt to the new shoes at different rates. However, the following general guidelines can help:

  • Gradual transition: Gradually increasing the amount of time you spend in barefoot shoes can help reduce discomfort and allow your feet to adjust to the new sensation of walking without shoes.
  • Start small: Begin by wearing barefoot shoes for a few hours at a time and gradually increase the duration as your feet get used to them.
  • Listen to your body: Pay attention to any discomfort or pain you experience while wearing barefoot shoes. If you experience discomfort, take a break and switch back to your regular shoes for a few days.
  • Give it time: It can take several weeks or even months for your feet to fully adjust to barefoot shoes, so be patient and persistent.

Keep in mind that everyone's feet are different and the transition time may vary. It's important to listen to your body and adjust accordingly to ensure a comfortable transition to barefoot shoes.

A wide toe box refers to the space at the front of a shoe, allowing the toes to align and spread naturally. This design helps reduce pressure on the toes, improving foot function and comfort. Flux shoes have a generous toe-box, thanks to the toe-off shape which creates ample room for the toes throughout the gait cycle.

Zero-drop means the heel and toe of the shoe are level, promoting a more natural foot position and stride.

I just got these but I think I need to size at least a half size or whole size up. I’m a true women’s size 7.5 but my toes are touching the top. I’m going to have to return and hope they make it in time for my trip.

I have the Glacier color from the National Park collection. These are my first purchase from the brand. I’m a 49 with serious knee issues and I’m working with a personal trainer to strengthen the muscles around my knees as well as strengthening my toes, feet and ankles. The zero drop provides so much stability when training. The boost my confidence because I’m steady. Personally, these shoes are extremely comfortable. I love the way they hug my heel and I love the room in the toe box. It feels great to wear these shoes. I can’t wait to build a colorful collection. The seasonal colors are outstanding!

Got these for my husband who wears work boots on the daily and had been complaining his feet hurt. He doesn’t have a shoe collection but I got a pair of Flux when I worked in a hospital and LOVED them. So I bought him a pair of these because they have a good tread for his farm style life and he has worn them every day for the times he can go without boots. He’s stopped complaining of his feet and said he wanted to get a black pair for work.

I'm officially a Flux shoe addict. I'm a nurse, athlete, busy mother, and live a very active lifestyle. I wear Flux every day for my workouts, for my nursing shifts, and my outdoor walks, hikes, runs, etc. I almost have every color!!! The wide toe box is amazing, the insole massages my feet so my feet are never tired. The bright colors are fun and my patients ask me about my shoes regularly. I finally found my favorite shoe. Nurse approved!!!

My first pair of Flux train runners were perfect. They fit great and I had no complaints. I also bought their adapter runners and lived in them because they too were perfect. I bought both runners and trail runners for my husband and he was equally happy.

A year later the second set of trail runners I purchased after months of out of stock were not the same. The instep was not as high and the toe box was more narrow and the toes angled up slightly. I'll attach a photo of the original trail runners side by side with the new ones. These now have "grounding technology" so I know it's a redesign. Customer service was responsive and immediately sent a replacement pair 1/2 larger and they were too large, still with the instep not high enough. I wore the smaller, tighter version because the half size larger weren't stable on downhill. Within 2 weeks I had pain and numbness in my toes that required physical therapy to correct.

I'm so **** with the redesign. I don't know if the changes in design were a choice or an unfortunate byproduct of the company growing and changing production.

It's now a year later and I'm still visiting the website to see if there's another redesign, but alas it's still the National Park design with grounding. Hopefully they get this fixed, otherwise I guess I'm going back to Altras.

Great trail running shoes. Super comfortable, feet feels good after running. Definitely worth the purchase.

These are my favorite shoes but they do wear out after a while. Please, please, please restock sizes!! And add new colors- blue/gray, black/gray, more charcoal/olive and maybe a wheat/navy?? Please. They are the only shoes my feet tolerate.

While these shoes are very comfortable, the outer sole wears out extremely fast. I've owned two pairs, and thought the first pair wearing out quickly was just a fluke, however the second pair wore out really fast. In less than 8 months, the sole was gone. I only wear them on solid pavement, and walk in them only, no running. When I contacted FLUX about a warranty, even sending them photos showing excessive wear, they basically said "too bad" we only replace shoes for manufacturing defects. $150 for shoes that only last 6-8 months is a bit too much.

Most amazing trail shoe yet!

After having tried several traditional hiking shoe companies, I had to give my favorite training shoes trail version a try. And man, I’m glad I did! Bought these before our anniversary trip to Acadia National Park, and they were THE best shoes I’ve used. We did the hardest trails there which included some serious climbing on boulders and walking down giant sheets of granite - and no slips! Customer for life!

great shoe, not great material

I own two pairs of the Adapt Runner and purchased the Glacier Adapt Trail Runner specifically for hiking and trail use, expecting a stronger base than the Adapt Runner. Unfortunately, the material ripped during my hike out. The photo shows my sewing repair after the tear occurred.

What I would really like is the comfort and feel of the Adapt Runner combined with the stronger base of the Adapt Trail Runner, but without the treads.

IMO: They run smaller than indicated

I wear a 7.5 regular shoe but I always buy a size 8 for running shoes. As indicated on the sizing chart, it is recommended to size up, so I did order my typical half size larger (8)…but I should have actually ordered one entire size larger (8.5). My toes come to the end with a millimeter to spare, and my toes hit the end when I walk/run.

I did order these specifically for a Spartan Beast that I signed up for, and the Adapt Trail Runners were flying out of stock, so I quickly ordered my “normal” running shoe size (8), and by the time I got them and decided they would be too small for comfort, all the 8.5’s were sold out in every color and I had no time to wait for a restock…so I kept them and went with it. They accomplished the task GREAT through the mud, rope climb, various other obstacles and terrain, but my feet were definitely wanting a larger size. I have since worn them a few more times and I just really wish they were a half size larger for more toe room and comfort.

Otherwise, they are a fabulous trail runner and they do wash up nicely. Because I enjoy trail running/OCRs, I will be ordering an 8.5 once they restock.

Thread is gone

I bought these shoes in May and last month i noticed the tread is gone, i only use them for running and walking, maybe 6 miles a week of running and 4-6 of walking. I reached out to the warranty team and they asked for tons of pics and same questions about what happened and then stopped answering. I can’t buy shoes every 4 months!!! I love the shoes but they dont last.

Worn out after 1.5 months

I’ve worn these shoes daily for a month and a half, and have loved the fit and how comfortable they are. They are definitely one of the most comfortable walking shoes I’ve ever owned. However….after only 1.5 months of regular wear, the soles are already extremely worn down. I am very **** that these haven’t lasted longer, especially being sold as trail running shoes (you’d think they would be made to last!). These shoes are not cheap, so I likely won’t be getting another pair if I can’t wear them regularly.

Manufacturing Issue

I purchased an 8.5 which was too small, ordered a 9.5 and it was the same size as the 8.5.
Flux was not interested in reviewing this issue, terrible customer service. It is very strange that both the trail runner and the trainer had the same issue.

The shoe came apart. The second flux shoe that did this

BOTH SHOES came apart. I logged maybe 60-65 miles in them in total. But both shoes have come all torn up on the inside at the heel area.

Maybe flux needs to design a new heel shape

Reordering? THEY CHANGED MANUFACTURERS & THE SIZING CHANGED!

Ordered my third pair of Trail Runners and the fit is completely different! Much tighter. I chatted and was told THEY CHANGED MANUFACTURERS AND THE SIZING CHANGED! They won't do anything for you if you are "naive" like I was and assume you'll receive the same shoe you've ordered before. I was outside of my return window which was irrelevant anyhow because this latest one was a color on clearance but still... I spent a month wondering why my shoes felt so tight but they looked the same as my older pair which fit perfectly. Even ordered longer laces to give my foot more room!

They offered me 20% off another order which feels like an insult. I'll be hunting for a new grounding athletic shoe and disputing this one to my credit card company for dishonest sales practices.

My fourth pair and still happy!

I've been wearing the Adapt Trail Runner for the past year through several 50 miler and 100k races plus training. I've been very happy with their performance. I this pair in a half size larger for a multi-day FKT. I was a little more nervous to use this shoe on my attempt because I knew I would have a good portion of the route on road, and I was worried my feet would get tired since they're not really a high cushion shoe. The bulk of the route was very technical trail, so I still needed the grip and flexibility of a trail shoe. I was pleasantly surprised that my feet were just fine! I felt I had enough cushion and enough space. I even have calcium deposits in my Achilles tendon, so I was concerned about several days in a zero drop, but no issues. Whew! I also wore my normal pair of trail runners last weekend on a very very wet and technical course, and they performed just great, as always. No blisters, no hot spots, I feel secure on technical downhills, and just a really great shoe. Thank you!!!!

Best shoes ever!

I bought these shoes when I had plantar fasciitis and these were the only thing that worked for me! They are so comfortable and I love the messaging insert.

First time buyer

My husband has a pair and he loves them. I’ve been looking for a long distance walking shoe that isn’t overloaded with thick soles or a bulky exterior. For me, I prefer a barefoot experience and these are great. A little snug at the opening but I know they’ll break in over time. Ordering 2 more pair while you have clearance colors!
