    Not great

Brought these during the Black Friday sale because I’ve been wanting to try them out for a while. I had foot surgery in July so my feet have been hyper sensitive since then. Shoes run pretty tight, I would return to size up but they were final sale. There’s not much support or cushion. Honestly I don’t like them much and they hurt my feet. They are very expensive so not worth the price point even with the Black Friday discount

    Bulky and weird fit

I’m really disappointed, I read the reviews and ordered a full size bigger than I usually do and my big toe is still squished at the top on one foot, but somehow it’s too roomy in the back and my foot slides around. My feet moved too much to do squats and deadlifts but also were being squished and my toes hurt when I was trying to sprint. The zero drop is nice though and the massage nodes on the sole feel good, the fit is just not comfortable or functional. If I could return I would.

    Almost perfect (for me)

I have hyper sensitive feet and am very picky on my shoes, after my last pair of nanos didn’t even last a year, I went through 3 pairs of shoes and sent them all back bc they didn’t fit me right. One of them was the flux trainers. I absolutely HATE the insole of these shoes, the “massaging” bumps make my feet feel on fire. That’s why I had to send the trainers back. I got a pair of regular runners, I didn’t like them but decided to give them a chance bc the insole was removable, I got a zero drop insole and stretched them out and they are wearable and now good shoes.

I decided to get the waterproof runners bc I am a land surveyor and work outside all day long and my feet can get wet at times. The waterproof lining works, but it did get through a handful of times when walking in lots of mud. It could have been from the fact that I’ve walked though the WP lining. Speaking of the WP lining, it adds thickness to the inside of the shoe so I took the advice they gave me and I went up a half size. Normally a 10.5 but I got 11. They were still quite tight. I was so so happy to see they didn’t have the bumpy part under the insole that’s on the normal runners. That’s why I had to order a pair of insoles to replace the flux bumpy ones.

I took the bumpy flux insoles out and that gave me some more room but they were still a little too tight, and me being impatient for them to break in and having tight shoes, I shoved a 20 oz tumbler in each shoe overnight and it stretched them out…

    The most Amazing Shoes ever

Where to start, I've been using brooks all my life and thought the world of it until I found Flux now my brooks are collecting dust, man do I love Flux. I have a job that I'm atleast 16 hours on my feet and this saved me through and through. I wish the adapt waterproof got more colors I would have one of each. I recommend to all my friends they were sceptic because of the wide toe and now they love their shoes, makes me happy because it's hard to get shoes that you don't want to take off.

I got the adapt trail runner for all my hiking needs wish they were waterproof other than that, I'm truely happy.

I pair them with my toe socks and I got to tell you my toes and feet never felt so great.

I'm genuinely inlove with these shoes.

I do half size up on my original shoe size.

*not paid to review, just a happy customer.

    I love these shoes!

These shoes have definitely improved my running ability. My toes would go numb while running. After going to my doctor he told me that it could be from my toes not having enough room to spread. After switching to Flux, I haven’t had that problem. These barefoot box toed shoes have made running comfortable and enjoyable again.

Wearing bulky shoes is like keeping your feet in casts. Sure, they’re temporarily safe, and may even be able to recover from overuse, but this is merely a band-aid, not a long term solution. Your body works and feels best when it’s being used and appropriately challenged.

  • Stronger Feet: Traditional shoes restrict movement and weaken foot muscles over time. Barefoot shoes promote natural movement, strengthening muscles in the feet, ankles, and lower legs for better stability and strength.
  • Happier Toes: A wide toe-box gives your toes freedom to wiggle and flex. This builds up their strength and flexibility, making it easier to move around without hurting your ankles or knees.
  • Balanced Stride: A zero-drop design, meaning your heel and forefoot are on the same level, gives you a natural, graceful stride that takes the strain off your joints and perks up your posture.

"Barefoot shoes" is a general term for shoes that optimize the natural biomechanics of the human foot. To achieve that, our shoes feature excellent flexibility, zero-drop (no heel raise), and a generous toe-box to accomodate the foot's natural shape.

Flux shoes have a generous toe-box, thanks to the toe-off shape which creates ample room for the toes throughout the gait cycle.

Yes, these shoes are flat from heel to toe, allowing your feet to land naturally.

The amount of time it takes to transition to barefoot shoes varies for each individual, as everyone's feet are different and may adapt to the new shoes at different rates. However, the following general guidelines can help:

  • Gradual transition: Gradually increasing the amount of time you spend in barefoot shoes can help reduce discomfort and allow your feet to adjust to the new sensation of walking without shoes.
  • Start small: Begin by wearing barefoot shoes for a few hours at a time and gradually increase the duration as your feet get used to them.
  • Listen to your body: Pay attention to any discomfort or pain you experience while wearing barefoot shoes. If you experience discomfort, take a break and switch back to your regular shoes for a few days.
  • Give it time: It can take several weeks or even months for your feet to fully adjust to barefoot shoes, so be patient and persistent.

Keep in mind that everyone's feet are different and the transition time may vary. It's important to listen to your body and adjust accordingly to ensure a comfortable transition to barefoot shoes.
