Love the older model, but the new model has changed slightly…

I first bought the adapt runners over a year ago and they have been the most comfortable running shoes I have ever worn. I reordered two new pairs as my pair from a year ago was wearing out from normal running wear and tear. The newer model from a year later seems slightly more narrow. I compared it with my older shoe and their is definitely a slight difference in fit (and I truly don’t think it is that the older one is more “broken in”). While I don’t think the difference is enough for me to return them as they still feel pretty comfortable, it is disappointing to know that they altered their original product to a more narrow version when the whole point of the shoe is to have a wide toe box. There aren’t a ton of options for people with bunions and wide feet, so discouraging to see the company narrow the toe box. In the photo, for reference, the black shoe is a little over a year old and the gray shoe is brand new. And I purchased the same size- 7.5W/6M

Only shoe I will wear to work out in

Love my Flux shoes! I have three different colors of the runner. Great gym shoe. I can go from the treadmill to lifting weights and my feet are so comfortable. I am a hairdresser of 20+ years so keeping my feet comfy is key! I recommend them to everyone.

    Something changed...

Something changed with the Adapt Runner. They appear to have gotten narrower, which defeats the entire purpose. These two shoes are the same size, a year apart. I'm pretty bummed they changed the design. They were the most comfortable running shoe I had ever worn.

    From a 5 to a 4 to a 2…

Got the adapt runners in tennis ball yellow

They were a bit to small

I originally saw as for the trail shoes in so figured I would just exchange for those since the same price at the time…

But that didn’t go so well

When going to exchange portal I was offered different options to exchange

But some how the shoe I wanted wasn’t an option…

When emailing “customer service” they said they can’t exchange them because there’s a limited number or some bs

But I could go pay another 140$ for them and they would be on the way.

Maybe it’s just me but that makes zero sense. You have them to buy but not exchange for brand new ones I just bought and you can resell to make up for when I send them back…

    There’s the 4 stars

I purchase the ones I want a month or so later, plan on buying for my wife and son too because the really are awesome…

They were on sale so didn’t have to use my 43$ “cash back” card I supposedly had…

Finally my 30 days to wait is up!

I happened to get an email stating “40% off when buying 2 seasonal runners”

Heck yes, although customer service is terrible I’ll still by my family a pair because it’s a good product

Pick two pair and the total is nearly 300$

    No coupon code in email

    I’ll email them

Maybe they will help this time

Since I have my 43$ too, I’ll order the runners in solar red as well and wait for reply

Type in my cash back code…

“Invalid coupon code” that I copied and pasted btw

    Tried again

    Invalid

    I’ll send another email

    That was…

Wearing bulky shoes is like keeping your feet in casts. Sure, they’re temporarily safe, and may even be able to recover from overuse, but this is merely a band-aid, not a long term solution. Your body works and feels best when it’s being used and appropriately challenged.

  • Stronger Feet: Traditional shoes restrict movement and weaken foot muscles over time. Barefoot shoes promote natural movement, strengthening muscles in the feet, ankles, and lower legs for better stability and strength.
  • Happier Toes: A wide toe-box gives your toes freedom to wiggle and flex. This builds up their strength and flexibility, making it easier to move around without hurting your ankles or knees.
  • Balanced Stride: A zero-drop design, meaning your heel and forefoot are on the same level, gives you a natural, graceful stride that takes the strain off your joints and perks up your posture.

"Barefoot shoes" is a general term for shoes that optimize the natural biomechanics of the human foot. To achieve that, our shoes feature excellent flexibility, zero-drop (no heel raise), and a generous toebox to accomodate the foot's natural shape.

Flux shoes have a generous toe-box, thanks to the toe-off shape which creates ample room for the toes throughout the gait cycle.

Yes, these shoes are flat from heel to toe, allowing your feet to land naturally.

The amount of time it takes to transition to barefoot shoes varies for each individual, as everyone's feet are different and may adapt to the new shoes at different rates. However, the following general guidelines can help:

  • Gradual transition: Gradually increasing the amount of time you spend in barefoot shoes can help reduce discomfort and allow your feet to adjust to the new sensation of walking without shoes.
  • Start small: Begin by wearing barefoot shoes for a few hours at a time and gradually increase the duration as your feet get used to them.
  • Listen to your body: Pay attention to any discomfort or pain you experience while wearing barefoot shoes. If you experience discomfort, take a break and switch back to your regular shoes for a few days.
  • Give it time: It can take several weeks or even months for your feet to fully adjust to barefoot shoes, so be patient and persistent.

Keep in mind that everyone's feet are different and the transition time may vary. It's important to listen to your body and adjust accordingly to ensure a comfortable transition to barefoot shoes.
