Adapt High-Top Trainer

I am disappointed to write this review as I’ve been wearing a pair of the running shoes as my go to comfort daily drivers for the past year. The runners are super comfy but they aren’t sexy, so I wanted to get some of the Adapt Trainers for a comfy sleek daily street wear shoe. I ordered the same size as my running shoes 11.5M and they were way too small. I did the sizing chart and realized I needed a 12.5 but I was unable to exchange them for that size in the stealth black that I wanted & originally ordered in the 11.5. So I had the option to exchange for the High-Top Trainers and after measuring my foot based on the chart on the site I ordered a 12M, which was also too small. The toe box is tight and there was zero room for my feet/toes to expand out comfortably. I wore them around the house to keep them in like new condition while hoping they would become more comfortable so I could keep them (as the 13M are unavailable for exchange and currently sold out). So my options are to get the correct size in the low tops in a color I don’t want, or just take the L and return them and wait until what I want is back in stock.

So, I never really got to wear a shoe that actually fit me because the sizing inconsistencies (the trainers run a size too small compared to the runners) and I’ll likely order the correct size/color when they come back in stock but for now I just have to send them back. I have had a nerve removed from my foot because of a neuroma (painful overuse injury). Finding footwear that works even for everyday walking is difficult for me. The Flux Adapt High-Top Trainer is everything I needed and more in a lifting shoe. Barefoot feel with great traction and flexibility. Plenty of room for my toes without my feet sliding around. The high top adds a little ankle stability. The zero drop is a godsend. And the cherry on top is that they look fantastic. I hope Flux never stops making these!!!

These could be great if their sizing was accurate and if they actually had a wide toe box as advertised. Here is a pic of it next to a non wide toe box, size US11.5 shoe. I ordered a size twelve (US) and they are visibly smaller than they should be. My toes are smashed in and have no room to spread out. Even if I got a size up the toe box is too narrow, and I have flat narrow feet so that’s saying something. Seriously disappointed because I’ve had compliments on the way they look but they’re uncomfortable even for short periods of time. It’s pretty absurd to me that other reviews aren’t calling Flux out for this.
