These have become my go-to training and lifestyle shoes. They're extremely flexible, easy to get on, and the massaging nodes inside are super comfortable. Not to mention, easy to clean and durable!

The Adapt is hands down, the only shoe I have ever felt good lifting in. The zero drop and flexible sole make me feel like I'm training barefoot while simultaneously feeling protected and able to handle higher impact training. I've never found that in a shoe before.

I have literally tried every lifting/ fitness shoe on the market. The adapt trainer is a game changer for me because of the flexibility, comfort, and the fact that they look so cool. I have ran, lifted, and jumped in them. They check all the boxes.

I especially love the adapt shoes because they allow for great stability having a flat sole and and wide toe box. Not only that, but they are also comfortable, stylish, and super easy to slip on.

I love these shoes for training and an everyday use shoe. They have an amazing classic style and feel great on the foot. The zero drop and knit upper keeps the foot in a natural position and allow your toes to have as much room as needed.

I love the Adapt technology by Flux. The second I put the shoes on, I don't want to take them off.

The knit material fits like a glove and is outrageously comfortable. The cushion pods in the sole feel like a massage for your feet, and the rubber tread keeps the feet grounded while also allowing the foot to contour naturally.

The Adapt Trainer is the modern minimalist shoe I've been waiting for. Perfect foot shape fit, stylish to wear beyond the gym/workout, and the fact that they clean so easily in the wash is icing on the cake.

I've hardly worn any other shoes since getting my first pair. Adapt trainers are crazy comfortable, super flexible, and surprisingly durable. They are my go-to everyday shoes and I genuinely highly recommend them.

    Fantastic

These are the most comfortable shoes for everyday wear but also great for the gym. Have absolutely loved these. I wasn’t sure if I’d be able to do some good cardio in them but they’ve worked well for me on conditioning days when I’m sprinting or running/jogging short distances.

    Short toe box

The toe box is wide, but not very high, resulting in needing to upsize probably 1 size larger than needed. Also, for minimalist shoes (less material, less styling) one would think these would be better priced in the $80 range.

Product FAQ's

Yes, these shoes are flat from heel to toe, allowing your feet to land naturally.

The Flux Adapt has 10mm AdaptCushion foam underfoot.

"Barefoot shoes" is a general term for shoes that optimize the natural biomechanics of the human foot. To achieve that, our shoes feature excellent flexibility, zero-drop (no heel raise), and a generous toebox to accomodate the foot's natural shape.

The amount of time it takes to transition to barefoot shoes varies for each individual, as everyone's feet are different and may adapt to the new shoes at different rates. However, the following general guidelines can help:

  • Gradual transition: Gradually increasing the amount of time you spend in barefoot shoes can help reduce discomfort and allow your feet to adjust to the new sensation of walking without shoes.
  • Start small: Begin by wearing barefoot shoes for a few hours at a time and gradually increase the duration as your feet get used to them.
  • Listen to your body: Pay attention to any discomfort or pain you experience while wearing barefoot shoes. If you experience discomfort, take a break and switch back to your regular shoes for a few days.
  • Give it time: It can take several weeks or even months for your feet to fully adjust to barefoot shoes, so be patient and persistent.

Keep in mind that everyone's feet are different and the transition time may vary. It's important to listen to your body and adjust accordingly to ensure a comfortable transition to barefoot shoes.

Yes! Many of our customers have successfully transitioned from traditional shoes to barefoot/minimalist shoes by wearing the Flux Adapt.

Barefoot shoes are designed to mimic the experience of walking or running without shoes, providing minimal support and allowing the feet to move more naturally. This can lead to improved balance, stability, and sensory feedback.

Flux barefoot shoes are made with durable materials and provide sufficient protection for the soles of the feet for most (if not all) activities.

Yes, you can wear barefoot shoes every day! However, it's important to note that barefoot shoes are designed to provide minimal support and protection, which can take some time to get used to if you're used to highly protective shoes..

Gradually increasing the amount of time you spend in barefoot shoes and listening to your body's responses can help ensure a comfortable transition.

It's important to remember that everyone's feet and needs are different, and what works for one person may not work for another. The best way to know is to try for yourself!

It's important to listen to your body and adjust accordingly to ensure a safe transition to barefoot shoes.

If you have any concerns or conditions, it's always best to consult with a doctor or physical therapist before making a change to your footwear.

Wearing socks with barefoot shoes is a matter of personal preference. Some people choose to wear socks with barefoot shoes to provide additional comfort and protection for their feet, while others prefer to go sockless to maximize the barefoot experience.

If you choose to wear socks with barefoot shoes, it's important to select socks that are thin and allow your feet to move naturally. Thick socks or socks with heavy padding may dampen the benefits of wearing barefoot shoes.

We have designed thin socks that work well for this purpose! (Available on the Flux website).
