These accounts are usually set up and managed by an HSA or FSA administrator, and you may have access to these accounts through your employer. Truemed partners with health and wellness brands to enable qualified customers to use pre-tax HSA/FSA funds on health and wellness purchases. Truemed partners with a network of medical practitioners who can issue Letters of Medical Necessity to qualifying customers, thereby allowing customers to spend pre-tax HSA/FSA funds on medically-necessary health and wellness products. At checkout, you’ll have the option to “Pay with HSA/FSA funds.” This will direct you to the Truemed site, where you will take a brief health intake survey asking if you are working to treat, mitigate, or prevent a chronic health condition. Once you’ve completed the survey, enter your payment details – either your HSA/FSA card or a credit/debit card – to complete the checkout process. After checkout, your answers will be reviewed by a licensed medical provider and you will be emailed a Letter of Medical Necessity (LMN) if you qualify. If you do not qualify, you may cancel your order at any time prior to delivery. If you validly cancel your order, your refund will be submitted to Truemed.

If you don't have an HSA/FSA card, you can pay with a credit or debit card to complete your eligible Flux Footwear purchase using the Truemed checkout option. After you complete Truemed's qualification survey, you can submit payment via Truemed. Truemed will email your Letter of Medical Necessity (LMN) if you qualify along with detailed instructions on how to submit your payment to your HSA/FSA plan administrator for reimbursement. You will need to submit your LMN and Flux Footwear purchase receipt to your HSA/FSA plan administrator for reimbursement from your HSA/FSA funds. Yes. You can pay with a credit or debit card through Truemed and submit a reimbursement request to your HSA/FSA plan administrator for up to the amount you have available in your HSA/FSA account. You cannot split payments between HSA/FSA card and credit/debit card. After you complete Truemed’s qualification survey, you can submit payment via Truemed. Truemed will email your Letter of Medical Necessity (LMN) if you qualify along with detailed instructions on how to submit your payment to your HSA/FSA plan administrator for reimbursement. You will need to submit your LMN and Flux Footwear purchase receipt to your HSA/FSA plan administrator for reimbursement from your HSA/FSA funds. No. You can’t apply your HSA/FSA funds to a past Flux Footwear purchase. Please contact your HSA or FSA administrator directly to learn more about your eligibility for reimbursement.

Yes. A medical practitioner can issue a Letter of Medical Necessity to a patient who meets the requirements to qualify to use HSA/FSA funds on health and wellness purchases, as set forth by the Internal Revenue Service.

No. For compliance reasons, purchases made with HSA/FSA funds are not eligible for Flux cashback. This applies whether you pay directly with your HSA/FSA card at checkout, or use a personal credit/debit card and later get reimbursed through your HSA/FSA. Since these accounts use pre-tax dollars, combining them with cashback would be considered “double dipping” and isn’t allowed under IRS rules.
