Built For Long Days

Stay comfortable through 12-hour shifts and nonstop schedules. The zero-drop sole, wide toe box, and AdaptSol™ insole move with your foot for natural alignment and long-lasting support.

Advanced Spill Protection

Coated with H2O Pro technology—a repellent that forms a breathable barrier to repel water, block stains, and handle everyday messes without sacrificing comfort.

Slip-Resistant Traction

Precision-lugged rubber outsole delivers secure, multidirectional grip across slick, wet, or high-traffic surfaces—helping you stay grounded and confident, step after step.

Modern shoes limit your mobility. Natural movement shoes let them move as they should—building strength, improving balance, and supporting posture. With a wide toe box and zero-drop design, they help you move freely, comfortably, and naturally.

The amount of time it takes to transition to barefoot shoes varies for each individual, as everyone's feet are different and may adapt to the new shoes at different rates. However, the following general guidelines can help:

  • Gradual transition: Gradually increasing the amount of time you spend in barefoot shoes can help reduce discomfort and allow your feet to adjust to the new sensation of walking without shoes.
  • Start small: Begin by wearing barefoot shoes for a few hours at a time and gradually increase the duration as your feet get used to them.
  • Listen to your body: Pay attention to any discomfort or pain you experience while wearing barefoot shoes. If you experience discomfort, take a break and switch back to your regular shoes for a few days.
  • Give it time: It can take several weeks or even months for your feet to fully adjust to barefoot shoes, so be patient and persistent.

Keep in mind that everyone's feet are different and the transition time may vary. It's important to listen to your body and adjust accordingly to ensure a comfortable transition to barefoot shoes.

H2O Pro is a PFC-free treatment that creates a protective barrier on fabric. It repels water and water-based stains, helping materials resist moisture and mess—without sacrificing breathability or comfort.

A wide toe box refers to the space at the front of a shoe, allowing the toes to align and spread naturally. This design helps reduce pressure on the toes, improving foot function and comfort. Flux shoes have a generous toe-box, thanks to the toe-off shape which creates ample room for the toes throughout the gait cycle.

Zero-drop means the heel and toe of the shoe are level, promoting a more natural foot position and stride.

Adapt Runner H2O Pro's fit small for most. We recommend sizing up a 1/2 size for the best fit. For more details, refer to our size chart for guidance on finding your perfect fit.

  • Blot the Spill Immediately - Use a clean, dry cloth or paper towel to gently blot the area. (Don’t rub!)
  • Wipe Away Residue - Use a slightly damp cloth to wipe
    off any leftover residue.
  • Air Dry - Let the shoe dry at room temperature.

Spot Cleaning: Using water, mild soap, and a soft bristled brush or microfiber cloth, focus on the particularly dirty areas (outsole or on the shoe). Do not use bleach. Do not machine wash.

Reviews Summary
Customers say these shoes are exceptionally comfortable and provide all-day support for long shifts and extended walking. Many appreciate the wide toe box, zero-drop design, and cushioned insoles that feel like gentle massagers. Users find them comfortable right out of the box with no break-in period needed. The waterproof feature is praised by healthcare workers and those in wet environments, though some note mixed results with water resistance and stain cleaning. Common feedback includes relief from foot, back, and knee pain during 12+ hour work days. Several mention sizing runs small and recommend ordering a half size up. While most love the comfort and support, a few report concerns about slip resistance and durability for long-distance walking.

    Waterproof?

    Yes, these are actually waterproof.

As a healthcare professional, these shoes have saved my socks from being soaked with *mysterious* liquids. Recently I tried these in the midwest snow and below freezing temps… sledding with my family. I figured that since these are comfortable on a normal day, I decided they would be more comfortable than my snow boots (as long as they kept my feet dry). After 4 hours of non stop sledding and snow ball fights I can confirm these are actually snowproof. The outers got wet, but it did not seep through to the inside.

Everyone else had on snow boots with thick socks and went home with cold and semi wet feet. I went home with dry and warm toes that fit comfortably in the wide-ish toe box all day. I wore a basic pair of crew socks.

This pair plus the adapt knit trainers have been the only shoes I have worn since May 2024. Starting to show their age, but it is not impacting performance. I will replace soon to keep the tread fresh. These are reliable shoes and much sturdier than expected.

Cons: limited amount of color options for H20 Adapt Runner, have to size up 1/2 size, can be challenging to clean (I throw the 2024 model in the washing machine even though it says not to)

Comfier than the Hoka Bondi SR

My feet are happier in these shoes than in my Hokas! I love the feel of the insoles. I learned the hard way that wide Hokas are not a substitute for barefoot shoes, so glad I switched to these.
